QR Codes
Generate QR codes for any MASK short link. Customize colors and logos, download in multiple formats, and update the destination without reprinting.
Creating a QR code
Go to QR Codes in the sidebar and click Create QR Code. Select an existing short link or create a new one. MASK generates a QR code that resolves to your short link URL.
You can also generate a QR code directly from the link detail view by clicking the QR code icon next to any link.
Customization
Customize the appearance of your QR code to match your brand:
- •Foreground color — The color of the QR code dots. Defaults to black.
- •Background color — The background behind the QR code. Defaults to white.
- •Logo — Upload a logo to display in the center of the QR code. The logo is automatically sized to maintain scannability.
Ensure sufficient contrast between foreground and background colors. Low-contrast QR codes may not scan reliably on all devices.
Downloading
Download your QR code in two formats:
- •PNG — Raster format suitable for digital use, social media, and presentations. Available in multiple resolutions.
- •SVG — Vector format that scales to any size without losing quality. Ideal for print materials like flyers, posters, and business cards.
Dynamic QR codes
MASK QR codes are dynamic by default. The QR code points to your short link, not directly to the destination URL. This means you can change the destination at any time without generating a new QR code.
This is especially useful for printed materials. If the destination URL changes, update the link in MASK and the same QR code will redirect to the new destination. All click analytics continue to be tracked through the same link.
Analytics
QR code scans are tracked as clicks on the underlying short link. All standard analytics — referrers, devices, geolocation — apply to QR code traffic the same way they apply to regular link clicks.
