Questions
- How many QR codes can I generate at once?
- Up to 20 per batch, in the tool and the API. Generating and downloading a batch is free with a MASK account; saving them counts toward your plan's QR limit, and Growth includes 100 saved QR codes.
- Do I need an account?
- Yes — a free MASK account. The page, the instructions and the example CSV are open to everyone, but generating a batch, downloading a code and saving to a workspace all need an account so the work belongs to someone. Your URLs are sent to MASK to check that each destination is safe before its code is drawn, and again when you save the batch; MASK also records that you used this tool.
- Can I upload a CSV?
- Yes. Drop or choose a CSV with a `url` column (and an optional `name` column), or paste one URL per line. Quoted values may contain commas. Download the example to see the format. Every row is listed before anything is drawn, with any problem marked.
- Are these trackable QR codes?
- The files you download from this page are not. Each one encodes its URL directly, so nothing passes through MASK. Saving the batch to a workspace creates a short link behind every QR: download those codes from your QR codes dashboard and their scans are tracked, with the destination editable later without reprinting.
- Is there an API?
- Yes. POST to /api/v1/qr with up to 20 items using an API key. The API is available on Growth and Enterprise plans.
