Terms of Service
Effective date: 25 March 2026
1. Platform and Definitions
MASK is a link management platform operated at mask.pk. The platform provides short links, Bio Pages, QR codes, analytics dashboards, campaign management, subscriber collection, email campaigns, templates, A/B testing, smart link rules, integrations, API access, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
In these Terms: "MASK," "we," "us," and "our" refer to MASK; "you" and "your" refer to any individual or entity using the Service; "Content" means links, Bio Pages, QR codes, campaigns, templates, text, images, or other materials created through the Service; "Workspace" means the organizational unit within the platform under which your resources are managed.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are acting on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate, current information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, including passwords, API keys, and two-factor authentication recovery codes.
All activity under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately at security@mask.pk if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate information, extended inactivity, or suspected compromise.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not:
- Create, distribute, or facilitate access to malware, phishing, ransomware, or malicious software.
- Redirect users to harmful, illegal, deceptive, or fraudulent destinations.
- Send unsolicited communications, spam, or bulk messages. Email campaigns must only target subscribers who explicitly opted in through your Bio Page forms or lead magnets.
- Infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
- Interfere with or place unreasonable burden on the Service infrastructure, including through automated scraping or denial-of-service attacks.
- Impersonate or falsely represent affiliation with any person, organization, government body, or brand.
- Violate any applicable sanctions, export controls, or anti-money laundering regulations.
Violations may result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our sole discretion.
5. Content Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to Content you create on the platform.
By using the Service, you grant MASK a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, cache, transmit, and display your Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service. This license does not transfer ownership of your Content to us.
The MASK name, logo, brand identity, platform design, and source code remain the exclusive property of MASK. No license to use our intellectual property is granted except as stated in these Terms.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your intellectual property, contact us at legal@mask.pk.
6. Public Content and User Responsibility
Bio Pages, links, and QR codes you create through the Service may be publicly accessible. You are solely and fully responsible for all Content you publish, including its accuracy, legality, and safety. You accept all consequences of making Content public.
MASK does not monitor, verify, or endorse user Content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any Content published through the Service. The presence of Content on the platform does not imply review or approval by MASK.
We reserve the right to review and remove Content at any time, but we are under no obligation to do so. Content created through A/B testing, smart link rules (device-based, geographic, or schedule-based routing), and deep links is also your responsibility.
If your Workspace uses approval workflows, Content subject to approval must not be published until it receives the necessary approvals.
7. Links and Redirect Responsibility
MASK provides link shortening and redirection services. Links created through the Service may redirect visitors to third-party websites, applications, and resources that are not owned, operated, or controlled by MASK.
MASK does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, availability, accuracy, privacy practices, or safety of any third-party destination. We make no representations or warranties regarding external sites or resources accessed through links created on the platform.
You are solely responsible for every link you create and every destination you configure. This includes destinations set through A/B tests, smart link rules, deep links, and any other routing mechanism. You are liable for ensuring those destinations comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
MASK is not liable for any harm, loss, or damage caused to you or any third party as a result of following or interacting with links created through the Service. We reserve the right to disable links that redirect to harmful, illegal, or policy-violating destinations without prior notice.
8. Templates
The Service provides Bio Page templates to help you get started. Templates are layout tools only. When you select a template, a new Bio Page is created using that template's structure. Templates do not include third-party content, images, or trademarks.
You are responsible for the content you add to any template-based page. MASK makes no representations about the suitability of templates for any specific purpose.
9. Payments and Billing
The Service is offered under multiple subscription plans with defined usage limits and feature entitlements. Free accounts (Hobby plan) have restricted functionality and quotas as detailed on our pricing page.
Subscriptions. Paid plans (Growth, Business, Enterprise) are billed on a recurring basis, either monthly or annually. All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
Payment processing. All payments are processed by third-party payment providers, currently Stripe. By using paid features of the Service, you agree to the payment provider's terms of service. MASK is not responsible for errors, failures, or delays in payment processing caused by the payment provider, your bank, or your payment method. Any disputes related to payment processing should be directed to the payment provider or your financial institution.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the applicable rate for the next billing period on the renewal date.
Expansion Packs. You may purchase expansion packs (Link Expansion Pack, Page Expansion Pack, QR Expansion Pack) to increase resource limits beyond your plan allocation. Expansion packs are billed as recurring add-ons and follow the same renewal and cancellation rules as your subscription.
Add-ons. Additional paid features and capacity add-ons may be available. Add-ons are billed separately and follow the same billing cycle as your subscription.
Changes and cancellations. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Workspace billing settings. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable consumer protection law.
Price changes. We may modify pricing or plan structures with a minimum of thirty (30) days advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
10. Affiliate Programme
MASK offers an Affiliate Programme allowing participants to earn commissions by referring new users. Participation is subject to the Affiliate Programme Terms, which form part of these Terms.
Commissions are subject to verification and may be withheld or reversed in cases of fraud, self-referral, or violation of programme terms. We may modify commission rates or discontinue the programme with thirty (30) days notice to active participants.
11. Subscriber Collection and Email Campaigns
The Service allows you to collect email subscribers through Bio Page forms and lead magnets, and to send email campaigns. You are the data controller for all subscriber data and are responsible for:
- Obtaining valid, informed consent in compliance with applicable laws including GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
- Providing a functional unsubscribe mechanism in every email campaign.
- Ensuring campaign content complies with these Terms and applicable laws.
- Promptly honoring unsubscribe requests.
We may suspend email campaign access for accounts generating excessive bounce rates or spam complaints.
12. Analytics and Tracking
The Service automatically collects analytics data when visitors interact with your links, Bio Pages, and QR codes. This includes anonymized IP addresses, approximate geographic location, device type, browser, referral source, and timestamps. A/B testing features additionally track which variant a visitor was routed to.
Public Bio Pages and links include this analytics tracking by default. Visitor interactions are measured to provide you with performance data and to support platform security, abuse detection, and service reliability.
You are responsible for disclosing this data collection to your visitors in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including displaying appropriate notices on your Bio Pages where required. Shareable analytics reports and public analytics pages are accessible to anyone with the URL. MASK employs bot detection and may exclude suspicious interactions from analytics at its discretion.
13. API, Integrations, and Developer Terms
API access. API access is subject to rate limits defined by your plan. API keys are confidential and must not be shared or embedded in client-side code. We may revoke keys for abuse or Terms violations.
Webhooks. Webhook endpoints must point to infrastructure under your control. MASK makes reasonable efforts to deliver events but does not guarantee delivery.
Integrations. Third-party integrations (Slack, Zapier, and others) require your authorization. You are responsible for the security and privacy practices of connected services. MASK is not liable for data loss or incidents arising from integrations you configure.
Connected Stripe accounts. If you connect your Stripe account, MASK displays payment data in your Workspace dashboard. MASK does not process, hold, or transfer funds on your behalf.
API specifications are documented in our API Reference. Breaking changes will be communicated at least thirty (30) days in advance where practicable.
14. Workspaces and Teams
Workspaces are the organizational unit within the Service. All resources belong to a Workspace. Workspace owners manage team members, roles, and settings.
The Service supports multiple team roles (Owner, Admin, Manager, Editor, Analyst, Billing, Developer, Client Viewer, Client Approver) with varying permission levels. Workspace owners are responsible for assigning appropriate roles.
The client portal feature allows agencies to manage Workspaces on behalf of clients. Agency owners are responsible for handling client data in accordance with applicable agreements and laws.
15. Feature Changes
The platform evolves continuously. We may add, modify, or discontinue features to improve the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes in advance.
Feature changes will not retroactively eliminate core rights granted under these Terms. If a material feature included in your plan is permanently removed, you may cancel your subscription for a pro-rata refund of the remaining billing period.
16. Content Removal and Slug Reclamation
MASK may remove, disable, or reassign Content (including slugs) for:
- Technical necessity or interference with platform operations.
- Policy violations or applicable law breaches.
- Impersonation or misrepresentation.
- Spam, phishing, malware, fraud, or safety concerns.
- Slug conflicts with the reserved namespace or platform requirements.
Where practicable, we will notify the account holder after action is taken. You may submit review requests at support@mask.pk within thirty (30) days.
17. Enterprise Features
Enterprise plans may include SAML SSO, SCIM directory sync, domain auto-join, enforced security policies, custom data retention, delegated administration, branded reports, scheduled reports, and dedicated support.
Enterprise features are subject to the specific terms of your Enterprise agreement. In case of conflict, the Enterprise agreement prevails for Enterprise features. MASK is not responsible for provisioning errors caused by misconfiguration of your identity provider.
18. Termination
By you. You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support@mask.pk. Active subscriptions continue until the end of the current billing period.
By us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, for any of the following reasons: violation of these Terms; fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity; conduct that poses a risk to the platform, its infrastructure, other users, or third parties; repeated policy violations; or failure to resolve a payment dispute within a reasonable time.
Effect of suspension. During suspension, access to the Service is restricted. Your Content may remain live or be taken offline at our discretion. Suspension does not relieve you of any payment obligations for the current billing period.
After termination. Your data remains available for export for thirty (30) days, after which it may be permanently deleted. We are not obligated to retain, return, or forward any Content or data after the export period.
Refunds. No refunds are provided for accounts terminated or suspended due to Terms violations, fraud, abuse, or illegal activity. If we terminate your account without cause, you will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your billing period.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MASK and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to MASK in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred United States Dollars (USD 100), whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MASK from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: your use of the Service; violation of these Terms; violation of applicable law; infringement of third-party rights; or Content you create or distribute through the Service.
21. Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where practicable. Enterprise SLAs are governed by separate agreements.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where MASK is incorporated.
Before formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution for at least thirty (30) days following written notice of the dispute.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least thirty (30) days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
24. General
Severability. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Entire agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and any applicable Enterprise agreements constitute the entire agreement between you and MASK.
